We're back!
We were forced to cancel a number of activities the past two years. We're working with our partners to bring them back better than ever!
Join Us and Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition for Harvest Day, Saturday, October 1, 2022.
10am-1pm at the corner of Fairway and Cummins, Mattapan
This year, Mattapan Open Streets/Open Studios is partnering with the Mattapan Farmer's Market to host Harvest Day, a fall celebration with vendor tables, performances and games for people of all ages. Featuring outdoor salsa dancing with Lumyr D, with live music from the Fulani Haynes Jazz Collaborative (and she's emceeing!), a kids corner, artisan vendors and local farmers. Let's have fun this fall, together!

The Mattapan Open Streets/ Open Studios (MOS/OS) is a community-engaged arts and design initiative that came out of the critical need for increased local arts and studio space for Mattapan area artists and community cultural engagement. In light of the fact that there are many creative people who live and work in Mattapan with very little access to opportunity and that Mattapan had never had an Open Studios, we decided to turn the concept of Open Studios on its head, and take a step further to transform the neighborhood landscape using artful community development.
Through creative placekeeping, we are building community and economic development through the arts. design, urban planning
and inclusive participatory community engagement together to build a positive impact in Boston's oldest neighborhood.
